Thoughts: I have been casually eyeing Donalda since she came out, but never ordered her. Then Donald turned up on QVC and I decided to give him a try. His darker coloring is more my usual tastes than Donalda's browns. Plus, I have an uncle named Donald, so he's my first name bear. (I have others I could get, but either they're mohair and expensive or I don't care for the characters.) I wasn't sure I'd like him, since I've seen a few that look kind of skinny-muzzled, but when I lifted this guy out of the box, I was happy. He's got a fuller muzzle than others I've seen. He's also quite the stocky boy. Very handsome!

Thoughts: Speaking of attitude, OMG, this guy. I saw other people's Rockpiles and I thought they were cute, but I wasn't super excited for him. Then I got to choose mine and saw this FACE. What is that? He's SO MAD! There was another similar one but he wasn't quite the same level of over it. I love him a lot now. Definitely my second favorite Bearhouse this year after Darwin. Oh, Rockpile is a weasel, in case anyone was wondering.

Thoughts: Oh, Misty. I loved her blueness in the catalog. She took eons to come out over here in the US. I think most of what I got this batch were from the 2nd quarter. They're all labelled made in June except one. I was lucky enough to get one of the three Mistys that came in and it was an easy choice, because I completely love this little grump. She's my Christmas present from Mom. I love that she's so pretty and dainty and then her face is like "Uggggggggggh." I'm always a sucker for a bear with attitude!
