Thoughts: I fell for Mortimer after seeing owner pics of him and ordered him from CB Direct. He's a big but skinny fellow so he should fit in on the shelf with Dandy and Clock pretty well. I liked his different face shape and the fluff chin that are unlike Dandy's. His limb shape and paws are perfect, too. He's a little more cartoony than Dandy, which I also like. 

ZELDA

Thoughts: Zelda is one of those bears whose stock photo does her absolutely ZERO justice. I was shocked how lovely the real pics of her were. I really liked two of them from Lovely Bears and when this one was still there when I got Zach, I had to get her, too. I'm at the end of my stockist's preorder list so I likely wasn't going to end up with one I liked. This one has the sweetest little face! She isn't tyber but her fur is still really soft, and it's a creamy white with honey shades and some cocoa-colored spots. Absolutely gorgeous and loveable.

Thoughts: Zach was one of my most wanted from 2022 and when I recently got a raise, I decided to treat myself to one from the Australian stockist I like. He's actually in the current shipment that's arrived in the US so I may end up with two. He's so tiny and adorable! He's super soft tyber but not solid black like I thought. He's tipped in a tiny bit of white, which makes for a lovely color. He's not as long pile as a bear like Dreamy so he's not as soft, but the tyber still makes him very soft. And he's somewhere between wobbly-jointed and tightly-jointed so he's very cuddly. 

TILLY

Thoughts: My first 2022 bought in the US! Tilly is the first 2022 Secret Collection bear released over here. I actually forgot she was 2022. I just knew I liked her. She's way more red than I expected. I was thinking she was brown. Her fur is coarser than most of my bears but it also has a neat fuzzy effect when photographed. She's on the lightweight side and I think she'll be good for cuddles. 

CHIMNEY

Thoughts: Oh, man, this dragon is causing a lot of trouble. Only a portion of the draw to be able to purchase him was completed and a lot of people are freaking out, even though they know there will be another draw come summer. I was upset at first that I didn't get him, but was hopeful for summer. Then I was absolutely shocked that I got him in the second draw! Chimney is the biggest of the dragons. He's a lot chunkier than Scorch, though he only sits a couple inches taller. He's the same super soft fabric on the black part of his fur. He has a gray belly and gray around his eyes, but his eyelids and the other lighter parts are all light shades of purple. His hair is white with bright purple tipping. He's pretty awesome, definitely a little reminiscent of Maleficent. 

VERNON

Thoughts: Vernon is amazing! He seems to be tyber fur on his limbs and ears, and it's dusty purple tipped in that warm brown. I had no idea he was purple underneath until I held him. So he's super tyber soft on his limbs, but his longer pile fur is actually incredibly soft, too. He's tall with long limbs and a pretty tubby body. He's smaller than I expected, being tall and skinnyish. He's tubby but still less massive than a lot of other 18" bears. I love the tufts of longer fur at his paws and toes. I love him! He's going to be great for cuddles.  

DIXIE

Thoughts: When I saw someone selling Dixie for only $75 shipped, I had to ask for more pics. Then I fell in love and had to buy her. Dixie is made from one of the plushes used for Befuddle's patches and Befuddle was a super soft, cuddly, early favorite of mine. She's honestly a little smaller than I expected. I guess I never knew she was only 15"! Not that I'm complaining. I like all sizes. She's just as adorable and cuddly as I expected. 

MILES

Thoughts: Miles is another one I had originally pre-ordered and then cancelled. I think I didn't like any of the faces left on the ones to choose from when it was my turn and I ended up never tracking one down. Well, better late than never, I guess! Unlike Olien, Miles kinda disappeared from my radar. I think I saw him for sale from the UK recently and remembered that he was pretty cute. So as bear fate would have it, he was in the same shop as Olien and now they're both home after all. Miles is soft, sweet and very cuddly. He's adorable!

OLIEN

Thoughts: I believe I had Olien on my pre-order list way back in 2017 and cancelled him. I don't remember why. Maybe because he turned out lighter than his promo pic? I'm not sure. But he's always hovered around the back of my low-key want list as a maybe someday. I've seen a couple of him posted recently on the FB collector pages and ended up wanting him more, so when this bear shop posted their stock and I saw him, I asked for pics. He doesn't photograph very well, but he's very cute in person. He's the same sort of rough, antique-looking fur as Alison. So they're a bit scratchy and not the most cuddly, but they're also unique and I love that.

Thoughts: Little Clive goes along with Callie, his light pink sister. Callie was available in the US but Clive never made it over here. I had him on my low-key wishlist but only recently started looking more for him. I found this little guy on ebay and bought him, since he looked cuter than a couple others I'd seen and the shipping was more reasonable. He's missing his paper tags but I never cared about stuff like that if the bear is cute and one I want. Clive is way more wobble-jointed than Callie, so I reinforced his neck with a ribbon. I love how little and fluffy he is.
